The Michigan Works! Youth employment program is designed to educate youth on how to get a job. They explore occupations of interest and plan job placement into those areas whenever possible. Some of the job opportunities are short-term work experience while others are long term placement.

Eagle Village has been the youth service provider for Michigan Works! West Central since 1997. In the past six years we have served 770 youth, 14-21 years of age in five counties. These youth are eligible for the training programs through the Workforce Investment Act (WIA).

If you are having trouble finding a job because you lack the skills and experience needed and are 14-21 years of age, contact the Eagle Village Youth Employment Specialist in your county.
