Elevate America is a program that offers FREE on-line Microsoft training on Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook.

Who We Are and What We Do
Eagle Village is the Michigan Works! youth services provider for the West Michigan area. We assist people ages 16 - 21 who need help planning or moving their career along.
Because this program is federally funded, you must be eligible to receive training services through the Michigan Works Youth Employment Program.
Eligibility
- Must be a resident of Osceola, Mecosta, Newaygo, Lake or Mason counties
- Must be determined low income (verification will be required)
- In need of work experience based on previous work history or lack of work
- Must be between the ages of 16 - 21
Services Offered to Eligible Participants
Employment Services
- Short-term work experience
- Long-term job placement
- Internship opportunities
Educational Assistance
- Obtain employer recognized credential
- GED or high school completion funding
- Assistance with college costs such as tuition and books
- Short-term occupational training (ex: Nurse Aid certification)
Citizenship and Leadership Services
- Career Planning
- 7 Habits for Highly Effective Teens
Required Performance Outcomes
All training services must meet the required performance outcomes of :
- Employed full time upon completion of training
- Retention of employment for no less than one year after training
- Completion of employer recognized credentials
